Blue native electrophoresis

Blue native electrophoresis is a powerful tool to separate and characterize protein complexes of biological samples like mitochondria. This technique allows the analysis of the stability, activity and assembly of protein complexes.

Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of gel electrophoresis like SDS-PAGE and Western blotting.
Teaching goals:
Understanding principles and applications of blue native electrophoresis.
Instructor: PD Dr. Thomas Becker
Duration: 2 days
Participants: 3-4 students
Location: Institute for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

The course is offered on demand, if you want to participate, contact your coordinator.
